Welcome to Don Jose Gallego
Principal's Message
Dear Families and Students, As we turn the calendar to March, there is a distinct sense of momentum in our hallways. We are currently standing at an important crossroads: a well-deserved season of rest and the final stretch of preparation for our upcoming State Testing. Recharge and Refocus First and foremost, I want to wish everyone a rejuvenating Spring Break. Whether you are traveling or enjoying a "staycation," I encourage you to truly unplug. Research shows that a mental break is essential for peak cognitive performance. Use this time to rest, play, and sharpen your saw so you can return with the energy needed for the weeks ahead. The Road to State Testing When we return, our focus will shift toward showcasing what our students have learned this year. I want to remind our students that these tests are simply an opportunity to show what they know. To support them, we recommend: Consistency: Maintaining a steady sleep schedule once we return. Confidence: Approaching each session with a positive mindset. Support: Reaching out to teachers for any last-minute clarifications. We are incredibly proud of the hard work our students and staff have put in since August. Let’s finish this third quarter strong and head into the break with a sense of accomplishment. Warmly, Mrs. A. Almanza Principal
